Fernanda Thomaz Da Rocha

Fernanda Thomaz Da Rocha has served as the Representative and Country Director for the International Fund for Agricultural Development(IFAD) in Pakistan since September 2023. With over 18 years of experience in finance and development programme implementation, Ms. Thomaz previously worked as IFAD’s Senior Regional Technical Specialist in Rural Institutions and Farmers’ Organizations for Latin America and the Caribbean, where she led the design and technical assistance of investment projects. Ms. Thomaz has extensive expertise in the development of country strategies and the design and execution of poverty alleviation programmes in impoverished and climate-impacted regions.
