Taimur Malik

Taimur Malik is the founder of Drawdown Farm at Rahīmabad Estate, a regenerative organic, biomimetic, no-till carbon farm located in Pakistan’s Thal desert. After serving as the interim CEO of a Pakistani textile mill during a pink bollworm infestation that devastated the country’s cotton industry, he transitioned from a career on Wall Street to agriculture. At Drawdown Farm, Taimur has implemented various regenerative agriculture practices, including the establishment of one of world’s largest Johnson-Su composting facilities and Pakistan’s largest vermicomposting & biochar systems. His work focuses on transforming arid landscapes through biological + sustainable farming techniques, aiming to address multiple crises such as climate change and food security. He is also the founder of the Pakistan Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture (PARA) & Regen Alpha
