Zaffar Abbas

Zaffar Abbas is the editor of Dawn, Pakistan’s leading
English-language newspaper. Beginning his journalism career in 1981, he has held positions at The Star, the Herald, and the BBC World Service. Abbas is renowned for his commitment to press freedom and has been recognized for his courageous journalism, including receiving the CPJ International Press Freedom Award.
